The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown. The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. Searchers after horror haunt strange, far places.
Monsters, The things that go bump in the night, beings that you are all around you. Now you might ask, “If they are everywhere, why don’t we see them?” You do, Just we don’t notice them. Our small minds have ways of making you think that a Vampire draining the life blood from a woman that just came out of a club but, what your mind creates the idea he is just kissing her neck. Your mind doesn’t change what you actually see, just your perception of the event.
What do you think happens when, people that are confronted with the truth and no way of bringing the “wool” over their eyes to explain away the horrific sight. One thing that can happen is they go mad, or their reality breaks and a killing spring. The other way, they can’t stop looking for the monsters in the night.
